Betadine Solution (Povidone Iodine 7.5%) is a broad-spectrum topical antiseptic microbicide designed to eliminate germs on the skin and mucous membranes. Use the solution at full strength for preoperative skin preparation, preventing bacterial infections, providing emergency antisepsis for minor lacerations, abrasions, and burns, and for postoperative care on surgical incisions.
