I have been riding Working Eq one-handed and using the curb rein from my double as I could easily slide the reins through my hands to shorten. Well, I also developed arthritis in my hands and ride fjord with a powerful neck. I bought these as the “grippiest” reins I could find! They work great for my needs, don’t slip from my hand when my mare pulls or gets heavy and allow me to maintain connection with one hand.
I have worn them twice and worried about the pain of breaking them in but have been pleasantly surprised how easily they are breaking in.
I bought a gift card for my grandaughter and have done the same in the past. It is always a good experience, and will do it again.

I saw a pair of Custom DeNiro boots that were close to my size. Since they were not a perfect match, I called Mike and since he had measured me for boots before, he reviewed the differences. He said that they were close enough, especially since as a winter boot, I'd be wearing thicker breeches and socks. The boots arrived quickly and I was so happy when I tried them on and they fit great! Thanks again to Olson's and Mike!!
