One K riding helmets combine advanced safety technology, lightweight comfort, and a sleek modern profile that riders love. With MIPS-equipped options, interchangeable CCS customization pieces, and both round and long oval fits available, One K offers incredible value for riders of all levels!

What is the One K Custom Color System (CCS)?

The CCS is a specialized design feature available on select One K helmets that lets you personalize three main components of your protective headgear:

  1. 1. The Top Panel
  2. 2. The Top Rails
  3. 3. The Front Shield

By mixing and matching interchangeable pieces—ranging from sleek matte finishes and vibrant gloss colors to dazzling crystals and textured patterns—you can completely transform your helmet's aesthetic in minutes.

Step-by-Step: How to Assemble & Disassemble Your CCS Helmet

The CCS system is designed for occasional customization to refresh your style (such as matching a show coat), rather than daily swapping. Please reference the technical diagram on the right while following these steps.

How to Disassemble:

  1. Remove the Front Shield (A): Hold the helmet facing away from you. Place your fingers on the hard plastic between the two vents (A1) and gently pull the shield back toward the rear.
  2. Loosen the Top and Rails (B & C): Insert the One K Key or a quarter into slot (D) on the side of the helmet and gently twist to loosen the back clips (g).
  3. Slide and Detach: Gently slide the Top Panel (B) and Side Rail (C) forward toward the front of the helmet to loosen the middle clips, then remove them entirely.
  4. Separate the Pieces: Gently unclip the top panel hooks (e) from the side rail slots (f) to separate the two components.

How to Assemble:

  1. Connect Rail to Panel: Align and click the side rail hooks (f) and top panel clips (e) together.
  2. Mount to the Helmet: Position the connected pieces onto the helmet shell. Align and slide the hooks into place from the designated front points (h) and work your way back, pressing down gently until you hear a secure click at the back (g).
  3. Snap on the Front Vent (A): Finish your look by mounting the front shield. Slide the two upper hooks into position first, then push the lower hook (i) down until it snaps securely into place.

Care and Maintenance Tips for Custom One K Helmets

The interchangeable components for the One K CCS feature sensitive, precision-molded clips. To ensure longevity:

  • - Always store your extra panels and rails in a clean, scratch-resistant bag when not in use.
  • - Clean components using only water and a mild soap cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that could degrade the plastic or finishes.
  • - Ensure all pieces are fully clicked into place before mounting up for a ride.
