Every dollar you add to your cart goes directly to supporting SAFE’s vital mission: to rescue, rehabilitate, and retrain horses facing neglect or abuse right here in our community.

Why June Matters

Spring and early summer are incredibly busy times for rescues. As the weather warms, SAFE takes on new rescue cases, handles intensive medical rehabilitations, and works tirelessly to retrain these amazing animals so they can find their forever homes. Proper care, veterinary medicine, and quality feed require immense resources—and that’s where the Olson's community comes in.

Who is SAFE?

Based in Snohomish, WA, Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) is a premier nonprofit equine rescue. They don’t just provide a safe haven; they provide a future. Through their rigorous rehabilitation and professional retraining programs, SAFE ensures that every horse in their care recovers physically and gains the skills needed to become a safe, rideable, and adoptable partner. They also strictly adhere to a no-kill policy, ensuring no horse is ever let down again.

How Your Donation Helps:

• Feed & Nutrition: Helps purchase specialized senior feed, hay, and supplements for horses recovering from starvation.

• Veterinary & Farrier Care: Funds essential dental work, hooves trims, and emergency medical care.

• Retraining: Supports the professional trainers who help these horses unlearn fear and transition into loving homes.
