The Piuma Air-Release Featherlight pad from Acavallo is made from a new ultra-light thermoplastic material which gives a unique set of benefits to horse and rider. It is low profile but highly effective at protecting the horse's back and offers superior ventilation and air-supply.

The structure of this pad is unique: it has a multitude of tiny bulges with lateral holes which allows for intense, horizontally directed airflow. In addition to offering shock absorption every time they are compressed and releases, the extreme airflow helps keep the horse's back dry.
