Neatsfoot oil has been used by saddle makers for over a century as a natural preservative for leather articles subjected to rugged use. Neatsfoot Oil lubricates the fibers of the leather, replacing evaporated oils, and restoring suppleness. This 100% pure Neatsfoot oil is perfect for breaking in new saddles and tack as well as reconditioning older tack. We recommend oiling any new article of tack before first use. Please keep in mind that this oil will darken light leathers when used.
